Can you offer Angel a new home?

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby
Sex: Female
Age: 10 years 8 months.
Time with us: 7 weeks.

Sweet Angel has been no trouble for us at all. She's had a really hard time recently, but has been nothing but purrs and meows for us.
Angel was returned to us in a bad way with a huge abscess on the side of her face which had caused her to go blind. After taking her to the vets, she responded really well to treatment and the next day she was back to herself - vision and all! Her sight has been checked since and is absolutely perfect - we suspect her short lived blindness was due to the massive build up of pressure caused by her abscess.
It's taken a while for her abscess to heal, but she's been such a good girl for us when we needed to clean it and give her her medication. Most cats would not have put up with the prodding and poking Angel has had to endure, and she has been an absolute super star for us.
While she has been here we have also discovered she has an over active thyroid, which is quite common in senior cats. She will need to be on vidalta tablets for the rest of her life to regulate her condition. Vidalta is a fairly low cost medication, but it is still an extra expense which will need to be considered when applying for her. Angel is due another blood test in a couple of months to make sure her medication is still working as it should and the dosage is right for her.

Angel is a sweetie, but she also likes her own space. She gives lovely cuddles when she wants to, but likes to let you know when she's had enough by giving you a quick 'hiss' and usually walking away.
She loved going outside to explore in her last home, so she will need to be re homed in an area that it is safe for her to spend time outdoors once she has settled in. She absolutely LOVES snoozing in the sunshine.

We want Angel to be re homed in an adult only quiet home, so she can settle in and enjoy her senior years in peace.
We would prefer Angel to be re homed as the only pet, but we might consider homes with another pet as long as they are as laid back as her, and you have the space to keep them separate until she has settled in.

Beautiful Angel has been through a lot, and we can't wait for her to find her forever home where she can feel safe and happy, and really relax the days away.'
