Can you offer Boss a new home?
Breed: XL Bully
Age: 1 year 7 months.
Time with us: 11 weeks.
Boss has been part of a cruelty case for the past 12 months, and now his previous owner has been convicted, he is now looking for his forever home.
Boss has been in at the branch since he was 4 months old. He now weighs nearly 50kg and has never experienced home life before. He has previously lived outside in a kennel with the other 5 Bullies, so moving to a home environment will take him time to adjust. He will not know the rules, and it will be up to kind, patient, adopters to teach him right from wrong.
He has the most amazing temperament, he really is a big dopey drawers, who just wants to be a lap dog! He has no concept of personal space, nor that he must swerve you when running full pelt at you!
Because Boss has had his ears cropped, he will need to wear sun cream during the summer months when the sun is at its strongest, due to having exposed skin where his ears should be.
Boss loves other dogs, but off lead he can be very boisterous. New owners must be prepared to attend training classes with him, as he is so bright and he will go far with his training. We feel Boss would be suited to a home without children. He will need all of the attention on him in his new home, so a home where he is the only pet for now. He will also need his confidence building around cars, as he is quite scared of jumping in a vehicle at the moment, Boss has grown up in kennels so will be looking for experienced, patient people to help him adjust.
Boss is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Higher adoption fee applies.
**Boss has unfortunately been returned to us, due to him being very mouthy** New adopters must be aware of this and follow staff advice on how to deal with this.'
