Can you offer Arlo a new home?
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: 2 years 4 months.
Time with us: 6 weeks.
With big brown eyes that stare deep into your soul, and fur as soft as velvet, we are puzzled as to why Arlo hasn't been snapped up yet!
This beauty of a Staffie has had a turbulent couple of months, and is now desperate to find that loving, forever family, to take him on.
Arlo is only 2 years old, and has so much love and affection to give to everyone he meets! Our dog walkers have all fallen in love with him, and he is definitely a firm favourite with the staff! He is house trained, walks nicely on the lead after a couple of minutes, and generally greets everyone with that huge Staffie smile of his and his wagging tail that can come keen sometimes!
Arlo has a bit of a bad rap around other dogs, and has previously got into trouble with the police - which means he must wear a muzzle when out and about in public. Arlo accepts his muzzle and this doesn't affect his quality of life one bit.
He can also be a cheeky boy and open doors- which is what landed him his asbo!
Arlo's ideal home will be with people who have owned Staffies before, who will abide by his muzzle wearing rule, and can continue his socialising with other dogs once settled in a home. We have found Arlo to be polite around chilled out dogs, and he will walk with these dogs from a safe distance.
He would be suited to older children, and can be left for 3-4 hours.'
