Can you offer Rosemary a new home?
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: 1 year 2 months.
Time with us: 8 weeks.
Basil and Rosemary were bought to us via an RSPCA Inspector after their owners moved house and left them behind. Looking somewhat rotund, we suspected Rosemary was pregnant, and sure enough less than 48 hours later we were greeted by 3 tiny new faces one morning.
Of course to be on the safe side (and to avoid any more pregnancies!) we had to split Basil and Rosemary up. Initially we decided they should probably be rehomed separately, mainly to avoid Basil having to linger here for a full 9 weeks unnecessarily while Rosemary reared her kittens. That was until we saw the incredible bond they had and it soon became apparent these two belong together.
Six weeks on and Basil and Rosemary are spending time together each and every day and are so excited to see eachother each morning. Basil also spends time with the kittens and is a very good boy, always doting on and protecting his whole brood.
Both Rosemary and Basil have incredibly sweet and friendly personalities, they really are 2 of the nicest cats you could wish to meet! Basil is a playful and clumsy cat who never fails to make you smile. Rosemary is a real dainty little lady who loves any attention that comes her way.
Basil and Rosemary are looking for a home where they are the only pets, so their bond won't be interrupted. Because of their past we don't have an awful lot of history on them, but after getting to know their characters we'd say they would be fantastic family pets and could be rehomed with children from the age of approx 5yrs+.
Rosemary and Basil won't be able to be rehomed until the kittens are weaned and Rosemary has been spayed, but they can be viewed and reserved in the meantime. They should be ready for adoption hopefully around the first week of August!'
