Can you offer Lex a new home?
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: White and Tabby
Age: 12 years 4 months.
Time with us: 5 weeks.
Lovely Lex is the sweetest soul and would make the most fantastic companion. He first arrived with us way back in 2016 when his owner had nowhere to live. Since then has been rehomed by us twice but sadly returned both times through no fault of his own, and thus he finds himself here again ready to embark on his next (and hopefully final) adventure.
Lex is a laid back chilled out guy who is never any trouble. He is very good natured and even enjoys rolling over and having his tummy tickled. Lex enjoys his home comforts and his food... a little too much. Lex weighs in at over a whopping 7.5kg so he will need to stick to a strict food schedule to get him to a healthy weight. It is important that we note Lex has a pre existing heart murmur which was first picked up by our vet in 2016. Heart murmurs can be common in cats and often, as is Lex's case, require no medication or treatment at all. His heart murmur has stayed consistent throughout the years we have known him and hasn't posed any troubles for him.
Lex is affectionate, friendly and and all round good boy who deserves the very best. He was previously used to a quiet home with no other pets or children and ideally this is what we want him to have again. He is very gentle with other cats and usually just has a sniff and then minds his own business, so we might consider re homing him with another very chilled out cat.'
