Can you offer Marley a new home?
Breed: Lop Eared
Colour: Grey and White
Age: 1 year 2 months.
Time with us: 3 weeks.
Marley is a handsome young male Lop rabbit, who has been with us in our care since 27/12/21! He came into the centre due to the previous owners moving and not being able to take him. Marley is a LIVEWIRE! He never stops, anything and everything has to be chinned and scent marked. He is always on the go, zooming around causing all sorts of mischief, we hope with him recently being castrated that this will calm him slightly, but we doubt it. He prefers interacting with people with all 4 paws on the ground, he is not a fan being handled so needs time spent with him hand feeding and gentle socialising to build his trust and confidence (on his terms). We are looking for experienced rabbit owners, who have knowledge of caring for them, and are aware of all there quirks and different characteristics. Marley would love to be rehomed with a very tolerant neutered female, and for them to be bonded slowly over a period of time. He can be rehomed with calm children over the age of 12, and NEEDS to be housed in XL accommodation preferably outdoors, the housing needs to have plenty of space for him to binky, bop, & play all day long. Marley is very smart and gets easily frustrated, so fun interactive games for him to keep him occupied are key to him being content. He is fully vaccinated, is microchipped, and has been castrated.
Key enrichment for Marley:
- Digging boxes/ treasure boxes
- Interactive feeders/ games
- Raised platforms (he likes being up high)
*Lastly most important, XL housing*'
