Can you offer Obi a new home?

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: White and Black
Sex: Male
Age: 7 years 3 months.
Time with us: 13 weeks.

You've probably already seen this lovely boy Obi on our Facebook page after he came into us with an injury to his paw. Though the injury looked pretty nasty, it has healed really nicely while he's been with us and now you wouldn't be able to tell he ever had one!
He is a really sweet boy who is trying his best to be confident around us and accept love and attention. He can be fearful of being handled but we've found a slow and calm approach out in an open space works so that he doesn't feel cornered or threatened. Once he's relaxed around people he'll nudge up against you for some fuss and really does enjoy it. He is also a huge lover of food and so with the right motivation and a patient person we're certain he'll truly find his confidence in no time!
Unfortunately, Obi has been a stray for a long time and as a result is FIV positive which means he'll have to be an indoor only cat. Though Obi gets along with other cats, he would only be suitable to live with other FIV positive cats. We believe that a calm, quiet home where someone is around for most of the day would be best so that he can feel safe and build trust with his new owner.
If you're interested in giving this lovely boy a safe home please feel free to fill out an application form or call us on 01283 569165.'
