Meet Sheba, a very pretty and petite girl who ended up with us as sadly her owners could no longer afford to keep her. Since arriving with us, she has been unsure what to make of the cattery and has been a little skittish. Despite her confusion, she does enjoy affection from new and familiar people, reciprocating this affection however she does communicate her insecurities with hissing and grumbling. In general we've found that her vocal communication is not a warning to us, but rather her letting us know that she requires reassurance, most of the time with fuss. In a quieter, familiar environment such as a home, Sheba is certain to find her confidence especially with the help of some tasty treats.
Sheba would have to be the only cat within a home as she's shown a disliking to other cats and is reactive to those who wind her up which can cause her to become hostile towards people. Because she's nervous she'd be better in a quieter home with quieter or older children.
If you're interested in adopting Sheba please feel free to fill out an application form or call us to enquire further.'
