Can you offer Josie a new home?

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
Sex: Female
Age: 1 year 1 month.
Time with us: 4 weeks.

Gracie (tabby) & Josie (black) had joined us after sadly being left in a property. We don't know much about their history, but they were both very nervous on entry. After a few days, Gracie started to gain confidence and is now flourishing in the cattery... she loves to play, especially one-on-one, will run to the sound of a treats packet and is also keen to be where you are. Josie is still fairly withdrawn and seems very down.. she'll accept a fuss and really enjoys a lick-it but doesn't seem to venture far from her bed while we're about, though she does like her food and so with some gentle encouragement and patient home we're certain she'll flourish like Gracie.

Ideally we'd be wanting the girls to find a home together as they do sleep together & wash each other. They could potentially share a home with another feline given a slow and sensible introduction. It'd be preferred that they live with children no younger than 8 years of age and would benefit from an indoor only home.

If you'd be interested in adopting Gracie & Josie, please feel free to fill out an application form or call us to enquire.'
