Handsome Hamish joined us as an unclaimed stray via a vets he'd stayed with for a short time. He's a timid boy, who is quick to spook but he is overall gentle and means well... he just needs some time and space to feel safe again. Other than the odd hiss he's never shown any aggression despite being nervous and if you're quiet and gentle he does really enjoy a fuss.. he just needs time to know we're safe. In a patient, loving home, we're sure Hamish will find his confidence again.
We feel Hamish could live with another cat based on a sensible introduction. He would be better in an adult-only home, though we would consider children who are aware of his timidness. We feel Hamish would suit an indoor environment better.
