Meet Ben, a German Shepherd Dog who is searching for a patient and understanding owner who has previous GSD experience. He is looking for a cozy place to call his own, where his new owners can give him time and patience to help him adjust back into home life. He would be a great addition to a quieter more relaxed home.

He needs someone willing to take things slowly as he learns about the world at his own pace. Ben can initially be apprehensive around new people, but he will provide lots of love and affection once he feels comfortable and confident around you. He can be worried with close handling and fast movements but warms up with time and patience.

Ben is ready to find a loving family and with time he will make a fantastic addition to his new family. Ben would need to be adopted with children of 16 years or older, due to his size and strength. He loves going on his walks and walks well on the lead. He may be able to live with another dog of similar size and calm nature, depending upon how well the meet goes.
