Can you offer Rocky a new home?

Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: White and Tan
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years 1 month.
Time with us: 2 weeks.

Rocky is a very friendly Staffie-cross, but is more or less similar sized to a Staffie.

He came into the centre as his previous owner was struggling to afford to keep Rocky anymore and asked the RSPCA for help. We have limited information on his previous home life, but we do know he is used to both men and women and has had some contact with children 10 years and over.

Rocky is a very anxious and stressy boy when in unfamiliar places. He will need time and patience in his new home to help him settle. Due to his anxious side, we feel a home with adults only, no other pets and with someone who is around most of the time, until he is settled, will suit Rocky best.

He's very active and curious when out on walks, enjoys sniffing around and having a nosey at things passing by. He otherwise walks well on the lead and is happy to pass-by other dogs with no reaction, but will occasionally show an interest. He can be vocal when he's in an unsure situation or eager to get out on his walks, but with some reassurance he does fine.

If you'd be interested in adopting Rocky, please feel free to fill out an application form or call us to enquire.'
