Can you offer Bertie a new home?

Meet Bertie!
Bertie came in with Rocco, who we believe to be his father. Unfortunately both boys were very skinny and undernourished on arrival, but after a few weeks of dedicated care, they are both much improved and on the right track.
Bertie can be nervous at first, but with a gentle approach he soon becomes a lapdog!

Bertie is a real gentleman and loves to curl up on a trusted humans lap with a nice rubber toy to chew on.
We are looking for a home for Bertie either with Rocco, or on his own. He loves Rocco and gains confidence around him, but he is under socialised. He is happy to walk past other dogs and say hello, but we don't think he would cope with sharing a home with other dogs or cats. Bertie could live with dog-savvy children aged 12+.

There would be work involved in integrating Bertie into a family home. We don't think he is house trained and he still has scavenger instincts after being so hungry and thin. Please consider this before applying to adopt Bertie.
