Can you offer Rocco a new home?

Meet Rocco!
Rocco came in with Bertie, who we believe to be his son. Unfortunately both boys were very skinny and undernourished on arrival, but after a few weeks of dedicated care, they are both much improved and on the right track.
Rocco is the more confident of the pair, and happy to introduce himself to new people.

Rocco can take a little time to fully trust people, but once he does he is a real sweetheart. He is ball obsessed (and still learning to drop so we can throw it for him).
We are looking for a home for Rocco either with Bertie, or on his own. Rocco makes himself known on walks and will bark at other dogs. He is very fond of Bertie, but can be a little mean when there is food or toys around. We think Rocco would be best suited to a home with no other animals, apart from Bertie. Bertie could live with dog-savvy children aged 14+.

There would be work involved in integrating Rocco into a family home. We don't think he is house trained and he still has scavenger instincts after being so hungry and thin. Please consider this before applying to adopt him.
