Meet Missy!

Missy came to us with her sister Mabel after having a rough start to life. They have had limited life experience and so everything is brand new for them. Since arriving with us they have learned what it is to have a comfy warm bed, regular meals, toys and love. They have been so brave considering that their world was so small until they came to us. They love to play together in our secure field and tug of war is their favourite.

Missy is the more nervous of the pair, she can get worried and jump up for reassurance. She likes to stick to her people like glue whenever she's not playing with her sister and wishes she was small enough to be a lapdog (though she still tries!). Missy can get quite nervous when out on walks and is still getting used to all the new sights, smells and noises. Her new family will need to continue introducing her to the world at a paces that suits her and be willing to put time, dedication and lots of love into her. We think she would benefit from training classes and/or an experienced owner.

Missy and Mabel have lived with each other and other dogs, cats and children. Missy may be able to live with another dog based on a good match and slow introductions. Missy could live with dog savvy children aged 10+ who are used to bouncy dogs.
