Meet Mabel! Mabel came to us with her sister Missy after having a rough start to life. They have had limited life experience and so everything is brand new for them. Since arriving with us they have learned what it is to have a comfy warm bed, regular meals, toys and lots of love. They have been so brave considering that their world was so small until they came to us. They love to play together in our secure field and tug of war is their favourite.

Mabel is the more confident of the pair, but can get worried meeting new people and bark. Mabel enjoys her walks but is still getting used to all the new sights, smells and noises. She can be reactive on lead towards people and dogs. Her new family will need to continue to work with her to desensitise her to the outside world and build her confidence, giving her time, dedication and lots of love. Mabel enjoys cuddles but also likes some space. Just being near her trusted humans makes her happy!

Missy and Mabel have lived with each other and other dogs, cats and children. Mable may be able to live with another dog based on a good match and slow introductions. Mable could live with dog savvy children aged 12+ who are used to bouncy dogs.
